Brocket Hall wedding photography of Val and Andy
The day before Val and Andy’s wedding, I was driving through huge puddles on the roads and through rain coming down sideways – forecast for the wedding day was dry and sunny and, normally a cynic of weather forecasts, I really wanted to believe this one! Thankfully it was right and the day was perfect. Early nerves disappeared when the sun started to shine, Valerie looked stunning and Andrew handsome, if a little nervous. Wedding photography at Brocket Hall is a lot of fun when you have such a fantastic backdrop, great weather and beautiful and keen couple wanting to make the most of all the photographic opportunities there are.
Here are a few of my favourite images from the day but you can see the full gallery by clicking this link – Brocket Hall wedding photographer.

We stopped at the bridge just before the main hall and spent a short while getting some beautiful images of just Val and Andy …and the occasional bemused Japanese tourist.
Some blue skies appearing early in the day at Brocket Hall
Amazing flowers throughout the whole hall and for the bouquets

I like the official dress carrier here – you’ll be glad to know this wasn’t her job all morning

Walking down the impressive staircase at Brocket Hall with Valerie’s dad waiting at the bottom

Emotional moment when Valerie sees her dad

Bridal bouquets with the stunning purple bridesmaids dresses
Ushers and Andy waiting outside the church, Andy looking calm …ish
Andy and his best man, his brother
Valerie walking down the aisle to meet up with Andy
I dont think Valerie stopped smiling throughout the whole of the service
Exchanging of the wedding rings

Beautiful arcade of trees at the church in Bengeo

Making sure that all the confetti is used

An old tradition of stuffing confetti down the wedding dress of the bride …but it’s a new one for me!
The bridge at Brocket Hall, great for photographs

I’m glad to see Brocket Hall planted lavender especially to match Valerie’s bridesmaids dresses

Valerie still hadn’t stopped smiling – definitely up there as one of the smiliest brides I’ve had the pleasure of photographing
Last of the nerves as Andrew gets up to give his speech – he had nothing to be nervous about, they loved him. Maybe he should have been more nervous of his best man’s speech!

Valerie sees the picture of Andrew on his stag …say no more

These guys loved their first dance and were in a little world of their own – superb

Big competition for this bouquet and a stunning catch

Amazing sunsets to be had at the bridge, perfect end to a great day of wedding photography at Brocket Hall
