Hengrave Hall wedding photographer

Hengrave Hall is quite simply stunning. It is one of the most photogenic venues I have had the pleasure of shooting weddings at. Hengrave Hall has a long history and is now a beautifully restored Tudor mansion immaculately looked after. It’s grandeur is obvious and as a backdrop for wedding photography, you are spoilt for choice indoors and out, throughout the year.

Hengrave Hall is situated just north of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and is set amongst rolling lawns, a lake, meadows and it’s own chapel. The well manicured gardens provide plenty of space for receptions on the lawns, there is a banqueting hall that can seat up to 100 people and a large wood panelled hall to dance the night away in.

Just a few steps from the Hall itself is the Church of St John Lateran. Perfect for intimate marriage services it can accommodate up to 120 people. Believed to be of Saxon origin and with it’s own organ. The four main function rooms also provide opportunities for ceremonies within the Hall itself (the Banqueting Hall, Library, Dining Room or Long Gallery). The  summer house within the West Garden is also licensed for Civil Ceremonies.
