Annabel and Deane were keen to try have some engagement photographs taken before their wedding and whilst the daffs and the magnolia were in full bloom. Now, when I say ‘keen’ …read ‘anxious’, ‘nervous’, ’shy’ and generally not that keen at all to be in front of the camera! Unless you are naturally comfortable in front of the camera (and that’s rare with our Britishness) having a 45 minute photo session can feel toe-curlingly awkward. But I hope to prove the case that even if you feel awkward, you can still achieve some great, natural images. Here are a few of my favourites:
