I was planning to put together a selection of favourite images from 2011 and although there are some stunning images to show off (he said ever so modestly!) a few images from each wedding stuck out as real hidden gems that haven’t had much of a showing. These images just stood out from the obvious, some made me laugh out loud, others brought back happy memories of some great couples, touching moments that were very fleeting and others that are just mighty fine pics!

Place name cards | Wedding Ideas & Inspirations

Of all the many little details that go into a wedding, the ones that really appeal to me are the personal touches – they may seem small but mean so much to the couple and the guests. I was taken by this simple but beautifully put together idea from Sophie & James’s wedding at Priory Hall, Hadleigh where they asked their guests to write a message on the back of their name place cards and then place it on the wire heart hanging outside. Wedding photography at Priory Hall of Sophie and James. Weather is definitely a theme of the last few weddings and this wedding was no exception – plenty of nervous looks out the window during the bridal preps to see what was going on. Glad to say that the weather really came good – good things happen to good people. Sophie and James were married at St Edmunds RC Church in Bury St Edmunds and then over to Hadleigh and Priory Hall to their stunning grounds for the reception. Priory Hall, Hadleigh is a beautiful venue with so many different options to use for weddings.

There are so many reasons I’ve been looking forward to doing the wedding photography at Priory Hall for Sophie and James but most of because they are such a lovely, genuine couple. Wedding photography at Priory Hall is great as the venue is a real hidden gem, stunning grounds to make the most of. Again, we had a few nervous moments with the weather but nothing that was going to spoil the day.
