Wedding Style

My style of wedding photography is simple, relaxed and unobtrusive. I try to let the images tell the story. This means that I have very little influence on your day other than any group shots you may like and some time with just the two of you – essentially, the more fun you are having, the better photographs I will get. Simple!

I am a documentary wedding photographer – I am there to tell the story of your day. I hope my images are not only professionally crafted but interesting, beautiful, fun and will bring back the full emotional rollercoaster of the day. I don’t shoot to a format or a magazine list of expected shots, everyday is different with it’s own unique moments and I hope to capture those for you.

Although story-telling is the important aspect of my photography, you cannot be a wedding photographer without other skills and I try to use my years of experience as a fashion, portrait and editorial photographer as well. The challenge of a wedding day, creating something fantastic and different for my couples really drives me on, I love it! One of the most frequent compliments I get as well (after how lovely the photographs are, of course …!) is how calm, discrete and professional I am during the wedding day. I hope to always be an asset, right from the first preparations to the day itself.
