Winter wedding at Botleys Mansion of Charlotte and Geoff

Botleys Mansion winter wedding. The last wedding of 2012 was the winter wedding at Botleys Mansion of Charlotte and Geoff. And there was no denying it, wrapping it up in any other way …it was winter! Cold, cold and a little more cold on top. But the weather is rarely something that I worry about at Botleys Mansion as there are so many photo opportunities inside the house as well as outside. I was glad, however, that Charlotte and Geoff were up for braving the temperatures and getting some shots outside – I suspect that the champagne had kicked in a little by then as well! These guys were superb to work with, both wear their hearts on their sleeves making their relationship so passionate and honest, a joy to witness. It also made for some hilarious speeches. One of many things that really touched me about the day was the relationship that Charlotte has with her father, something that I hope I have at least a little bit of with my daughter, and made for one of the funniest and heart-felt father of the bride speeches I had heard.

Keeping me company on the work front was the excellent and ever entertaining Dan from From the Hip wedding videos. Here are a few of my favourite images from the day.

The moment you realise that asking your brother to be one of the best men probably wasn’t the best idea.

I couldn’t remember if the game they were playing at this table was Fluffy Bunnies or Ibble Dibble. Either way, this usher was getting punished fairly regularly for it!botleys mansion

Best. Bridesmaids. Ever!
