Vintage Wedding Photography of Joanna and Mark

Wow! Really, it’s the only word that can sum up Joanna and Mark’s vintage inspired themed wedding. There was an extraordinary amount of detail throughout the day, so much for a wedding photographer to get carried away with. But the details, as many and fantastic as they were, were also testament to the huge effort so many family and friends had gone to help Joey and Mark collect things for their day. To see how much effort went into the day, you need to check out Joanna’s blog, My Vintage Vows. It might be a bit quiet for the next few weeks though, honeymoon ‘n all!

There were quite a few familiar faces at this wedding as I had photographed Mark’s sister’s wedding (Nina & Sam, Framlingham Castle Wedding Photography) a few years ago. And there were a few familiar traditions like the Polish bread and salt ceremony and the vodka toasts – although the toasts were a little more subdued this time! Here are a few of my favourite images. You can see the full gallery by clicking this link : Vintage Wedding photography

As good looking as the groom and best men were, I’m sorry to say that the stunning view across the Wirral Peninsula won out for this wedding photograph. Sorry lads.

This is something I had not seen before, lavender on the floor of the church as you walked in. It gave off the most amazing smell as you entered the church squashing it all under your feet. Definitely a top tip for other brides

Aah, the vodka toasts. Things are still a little hazy after Nina and Sam’s wedding. What’s the betting these two didn’t look too perky on Sunday morning?

A big thank you has to go to these two guys – the best men were superb. They organised the group shots at the church in double-quick time and made my life very easy. They could make a fortune if they were to go professional at it. Not sure about their movie acting skills, they probably wouldn’t make so much money if they tried to go professional at that …

Blue Steel. Uh huh, you know it.
