Woodbridge farm wedding | Just One

Woodbridge farm wedding. Aaah, how can I choose just one from Lil and Beattie’s Suffolk wedding – there were so many favourites from an incredible day! Lil looked quite simply, stunning. Beattie looked the handsome hero in his full Royal Regiment of Scotland officers uniform. The sun was shining – that in itself makes the day truly remarkable this year. The grounds of Boyton Hall Farm had been meticulously planned, dug, flattened and mowed to a first class level. Everyone turned out in their wedding finery, enjoying the glorious weather, the speeches, the meal, the occasional shot glass and an evening ceilidh – it was nothing short of a picture perfect opportunity.

But for me, of all the images that I took, one of a sequence really struck me. Just after Lil and Beattie had walked through the honour guard (for the second time with the Glengarry this time …!) and out through a storm of confetti, a little moment of quiet. A few short seconds where Lil and Beattie had a moment to themselves and Beattie very gently blew away the confetti out of Lil’s hair. A small but delicate and sensitive thing to do. And then it was away again to the cheers of the guests as their car wouldn’t start without a push from several of the beefier gentlemen of the wedding.
