Nether Winchendon summer wedding. Choosing images for a blog post from a wedding at Nether Winchendon House is always tricky – well, it’s easy as it’s such a lovely backdrop for any wedding and I always have far too many to choose from. It’s keeping it to a sensible number that’s tricky. But choosing images from Sarah and Tom’s wedding is even trickier as there were so many great moments throughout their day as well. Right from the start, when I walked into Sarah’s parents house, there was lots of laughter, that kind of laughter that comes from deep inside and is completely infectious. This was the start of the day and we hadn’t even got to the speeches yet, not even a mention of a jet-ski.
This is what defines these two incredible people, their sense of humour and how it spreads throughout their family and friends and to every part of their day. Nothing like a giant tea cup randomly in the middle of the lawn just to put your feet up for a few minutes during the busy schedule of the day, or a giant toy giraffe in a top hat keeping watch over the table plan. And some lunging. Well, a lot of lunging! (I always think of Joey from Friends when people start lunging …) Everything had their unique and very entertaining character well and truly stamped on it.
“Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Derbyshire! ”
