Syon Park Indian wedding. Syon Park is an incredible venue and the Great Conservatory is a stunning location for a wedding ceremony and reception. It’s hard to believe that you are in London when you walk into this beautifully country house and landscaped gardens. A perfect backdrop for S+A’s wedding day.

It was slightly mad driving to Syon Park – after a long, dry summer today was the day that the weather started to break. One minute it was blue skies, the next the clouds were so black that it felt like night. It changed every few minutes. All we needed was a dry spell for a few photos outside and the rest would be taken care of inside the conservatory. And we were blessed, the sun shines on the righteous!

Before the guests arrived, we had a quick opportunity for a few photos. I love a first look, always a wonderfully intense and private moment. As the guests started to arrive (in waves of sunshine or umbrellas!) Aaran did his groom duties of meeting and greeting and Serena disappeared to one side. The next time they would meet would be at the top of the aisle for their wedding ceremony. A first look sometimes takes the edge off the emotions but that definitely wasn’t the case today!

They left the ceremony in a cloud of bubbles and led their guests to the cactus house for the drinks reception. Making the most of a dry bit of weather, did as many group photos outside as we could before heading back inside the conservatory for the meal and evenings entertainment. Indian wedding speeches are my favourite as they tend to be less brutal, very well thought through and brilliantly lighthearted. These didn’t disappoint. Then onto the dancing where it felt like the whole wedding hit the dance floor. And stayed there. What a superb party. What a superb couple. Syon Park Indian wedding.
