Suffolk Tentipi wedding of Sarah and Dave

It had to be a sunny day for Sarah and Dave’s wedding. Dry would be okay but quite frankly not good enough. Tentipi wedding on a farm in Suffolk, only a day of glorious sunshine was going to cut it. And the weather didn’t disappoint – beautifully warm and sunny all day long. Perfect. Now if only all wedding weather could be so obliging!

You can’t really ask for better or simpler than a tent in a field with family and friends, great food, a few drinks and partying along to some superb music provided by The Talent after the sun has set. And being able to put a tent of your own in the field next door so it’s not far to stumble at the end of the night.
The wedding itself was held in the local church of Henstead. A big thank you to the vicar who, after giving me the standard “behave yourself” talking to that all vicars give to photographers, he then talked me through all the best spots in the church to photograph from. Brilliant! It did mean I had to hide behind the altar for the religious bits but I did get the best seat in the house for the emotional bits. Back out into the sunshine and off to the farm to celebrate the marriage in proper style. And few very (very) competitive games of croquet. Special mention goes to the photo of Sarah and Dave by the broken down tractor, it’s a not an artistic attempt on my behalf, it was Sarah’s Dad’s first ever tractor!
