Denbies Wine Estate wedding | Just One

Denbies Wine Estate wedding. It was a bitterly cold February day for Marion and Neil’s winter wedding at Denbies Wine Estate with the temperature nudging just above freezing. Denbies vineyard is a stunning venue when the vines are in their full glory or in late autumn when their leaves are turning brown. But I think it would have taken even the most ambitious couple to want to head out into the vineyard for any photographs at this time of year! Thankfully Denbies has a sheltered court yard next to their garden room (where the wedding ceremony took place) and we managed to grab everyone we needed for photographs without anyone getting too cold.

The wedding breakfast was held in the top floor restaurant which has a great view over the whole of the vineyard. Guests had a train ride tour around the workings of the vineyard and taken to the wine cellars for the speeches. The first dance was a real head scratcher for me …I couldn’t guess which of Marion or Neil’s music tastes would win out, Sepultura or Britney! Here’s one of my favourite images from the day taken in the wine cellar near the impressive wine barrels. More images to follow soon.
