My job is to capture all those big moments and tie them all together with the all the little bits that make the day. And to do it as brilliantly, calmly, efficiently and with as little fuss to you as possible. But most of all, try to have a lot of fun doing it!
My style is relaxed and informal a with a genuine passion for what I do. I set out to photograph your wedding day as a narrative, telling the story of the day with as little interruption from me as possible and aim to create a full set of stunning and timeless images.
I photograph weddings how I always wanted my wedding to be photographed. I try to bring out the joy & romance in a wedding day: to tell the story of your wedding from the first dab of make-up all the way through until the dancing starts to get incriminating; the nerves before the ceremony and the sheer joy afterwards; the confetti and champagne; speeches and the cake; and sometime with just the two of you getting some great shots; the family formal shots (not too many, you’ve got friends to see and a party to enjoy) …. and all of it done with humour and confidence.

When we got married, our vicar told us that the marriage was about him marrying the two of us – that there would only be the three of us standing at the top of the aisle and no one else mattered. After a long pause, he gave us a big grin and said that the wedding was about having a blummin’ good party with friends and family to celebrate it all.
