DAIRY BARNS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Dairy Barns wedding photography. It was a perfect autumn day for Elizabeth and Richard’s wedding at The Dairy Barns, Hickling. Crisp, clear skies with that lovely low lying sun that hovers around the horizon and still warm enough for a stroll through the sand dunes and onto the beach at Sea Palling. I do like a wedding invite that tells you to bring your wellies!

The wedding itself was the legal bit before a bigger celebration later on. There were originally suggestions of just having a quick registry office wedding to formalize things but they decided to make a day of it. And they did it brilliantly! I don’t know what was planned for the bigger celebration or how it went but this part of the wedding was pretty special – I’d even go so far as to say, pretty perfect. One of my ideal weddings. Relaxed, intimate and lots of fun; close family and friends; good food and wine; and an afternoon stroll along one of Norfolk’s most beautiful beaches. What more could you want!

Dairy Barns Hickling autumn wedding. I do like a wedding that has “bring wellies” on the invite, you know you’re in for something special. Every wedding I’ve photographed at The Dairy Barns in Hickling has been brilliantly unique but always with understated charm. We’ve also been lucky enough with the weather to head up the beach at Sea Palling for a few shots. Elizabeth and Rupert’s wedding was no exception and we were followed a little later by all the guests and family. Where the sea meets the land is always a magical place, none more so as the late autumn sun is slipping behind the dunes giving everything a rich golden touch.
