Hintlesham Hall wedding photos of Nicky & George

Wedding photos at Hintlesham Hall

Hintlesham Hall wedding photos. Gotta love these guys! Big, beaming smiles and lovely warm welcomes. I knew Nicky and George’s wedding always promised to be a lot of fun but they really excelled themselves. From the moment I turned up to where the girls were getting ready, it was belly laughs all the way. The boys were no different. Ushers lunch at The Sun in Dedham, where one or two sharpeners might have been needed by one or two of the ushers.

As guests turned up, you could feel the excitement bubbling up. Lots of lovely family and friends genuinely excited for such a lovely couple. And for a fantastic day ahead. Dedham Church is an impressive church. It’s also a long aisle for a nervous bride to walk down and a long wait for an anxious groom. But I know from first hand experience, standing at the top of the aisle, you feel like it’s just you two there.

After the ceremony, it was a drive over county lines for us from Essex into Suffolk to Hintlesham Hall. We were blessed with the glorious sunshine and a champagne reception on the lawn. With Irish family roots, it was perfect background music to have Stumpy Oak for the reception. They put down a marker for the rest of the day!

The meal and evening was celebrated in the marquee on the side of the hall. Impressively decorated by Amanda Steward Flowers, with trees in the marquee itself. The tables were named after each of Nicky’s nicknames, only someone this popular could have so many nicknames! I felt the speeches were going to be pretty straight forward until, that is, the pink flamingo came out. Poor George, if a man could crumple in his seat, he crumpled in style.
