St John’s College wedding photography of Tina and James

St John’s College Cambridge. Another day of dodging showers and anxiously looking up to the skies wondering what kind of weather this summer is going to throw at us next! Nothing was going to dent the smiles and enthusiasm that Tina and James had for their big day, they were just both bouncing off the walls with excitement, so lovely to see. St John’s College wedding photography is always a joy, long cloisters beautiful big courts and the view over-looking the Backs is just stunning.

Cambridge Church wedding

The day started at St Andrews the Great Church, a significant and very familiar place for both of them. After the ceremony, it was a walk through Cambridge – cheered on by shoppers and tourists – to St Johns College for the reception. Thankfully the rain stayed away for the majority of the walk and reception. After the meal in the main hall, it was back to St Andrews the Great for an evening of ceilidh dancing. Here are a few of my favourite images from the day. St John’s College wedding photography.

I love the looks that a couple get when they walk through the town. Tourists and locals alike are always so surprised and always so pleased to see a bride and groom done up in their finest. It is a real tonic for the grey skies and guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone’s face.
