Summer wedding at Suffolk Barns
Suffolk Barn wedding photographer. I just have to say that Lucy and Max are two of the loveliest people you are likely to meet. And they have the most amazing and intense chemistry. This is reflected in the huge amount of love that their friends and family have for them. Guests turning up to the church were so excited for the start of the day – a great sign that this was a hugely anticipated occasion.
This was, quite simply, an incredible day. It started quietly but built and built into an absolute belter as each part of the day went on. It was a gentle start with the morning preparations, a few nerves but a lot of laughter. There really was no need for nerves, as Lucy looked absolutely stunning.
The ceremony was held at Cockfield Church, a significant church for Lucy’s family. For me it was great in that the light in the church was perfect and the vicar taking the ceremony was very kind. You could see that Lucy and Max were almost fizzing with excitement when they saw each other at the top of the aisle. It was a beautiful ceremony where if you weren’t wiping a happy tear away, you were just beaming with it all!
Caribbean flavour in Suffolk
After the ceremony it was onto The Suffolk Barn at Hawstead; a lovely ancient venue where you can put your own stamp on the design of the day. And these guys certainly did that, the barn looked stunning. The weather might have been a bit grey but we had a bit of Caribbean sunshine with a steelpan band and champagne reception on the lawns. By now, the quiet murmur of the day was building and by the time everyone sat down for the meal, it was getting pretty lively. If that wasn’t enough though, the fabulous singing waiters took everyone by surprise and lifted the levels to hilarious levels. From here, it didn’t take much for the evening entertainment to take off in style.
Many congratulations to a lovely couple and a superb wedding day! Suffolk Barn wedding photographer.
