Gosfield Hall summer wedding. Unusually a Monday Gosfield Hall wedding for me of Chloe and Franco. They were married at the magnificent and beautiful church at Lavenham, impressive on most days but more so in the glorious summer sunshine (well planned on the weather front guys!) Chloe and Franco had their three daughters as bridesmaids and their son stood in to the best man’s speech – pretty impressive seeing as he had less than five minutes notice and is 12yrs old. They were amongst some of the fantastic kids that were there on the day (so apologies if I got a little carried away taking photos of them all!) With Franco’s family from Scilly, there was a great Suffolk/Scillian influence. Here are a few of my favourite images.

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]’ve been looking forward to this wedding for ages! Georgie (or ‘Miss Georgie’) is one of the long-suffering nursery school teachers who has had to look after my kids over the years. I’d like to think that my kids were perfect little cherubs with excellent manners but when I pick them up at the end of a long day at nursery, their cheeky grins and poor Miss Georgie’s slightly weary face told a different story. Georgie swapped her bright pink nursery school teachers polo shirt for an absolutely stunning dress and veil. We were lucky enough to have the last of the full bloom of spring blossoms and daffodils out, perfect accompaniment to a perfect day.

Granary Barns Woodditton spring wedding | Just One
[dropcap]O[/dropcap]oh, I do like a good confetti moment. I love it when I look through the images from the day and I see all the joy, smiles, laughter and happiness. None more so than those moments when a bride and groom walk through the crowd of all their friends and family having confetti thrown at them, everyone getting involved cheering them on. Testament to Rachel and Chris was this fantastic reception they got as they walked down the church path after their wedding ceremony and were greeted by so many smiling faces. Such a lovely couple, unsurprising but well deserved. There was so much to their wedding, every detail had been engineered meticulously and even the early spring sunshine made a welcome appearance (well organised guys).
