Bury St Edmunds wedding photography. Being a second shooter is a rare opportunity for me but something I love doing. And none more so when it’s second shooting for the hugely talented Lyndsey Goddard and at the fantastic wedding of Alice and Paul. The day started at The Angel Hotel where Alice was getting ready. The boy were suited and booted by the time we got there, so there was enough time for a quick drink before heading over to the church. The wedding itself was held at St Edmund King & Martyr in Bury St Edmunds and then onto Moreton Hall prep school where Alice is a teacher. The sports fields provided a great space for the huge marquee and plenty of space for all the kids (and a few of the adults) to run wild.

Alice’s father spoke of Alice as one of the kindest and loveliest people you are likely to meet – he might have been a bit biased but it’s hard not to agree with him. She found her perfect match in Paul; two people who thoroughly enjoyed their wedding day not only for the day itself but for the sheer joy of having their friends and family around them. Sunny day, great friends and family and the perfect opportunity to sit, eat and drink with them. Ideal way to celebrate. And not surprisingly, they both just beamed all day with the biggest smiles!

The glorious sunshine of the summer’s afternoon had obviously managed to recharge the whole crowd, young and old. The dance floor was pretty hectic and full of energy. A lovely end to a lovely day. Many congratulations to a lovely couple!
