Grove House wedding photography. Last Saturday I was off to London for the Grove House wedding photography of Elizabeth and Simon. Grove House, Roehampton is a real find for a London wedding venue; stunning Georgian building in landscaped gardens, wood panelled ballroom for ceremonies and the wedding breakfast and so much more besides. I was very pleasantly surprised, having driven past it every day for about 5 years, I never knew that something as lovely as this was here. And talking about lovely things, Liz looked absolutely stunning (d’you see what I did there, smooth huh!) But she really did, how Australia let this beauty (bewt? bewdy? not sure what the correct Aussie translation is) go is Australia’s loss and Simon’s gain. Glad to say that the English weather managed to confuse the many Australian guests who had travelled so far for the wedding by being sunny and warm – for good measure, it rained a little bit just to prove that it could.
Here are a few of my favourite images from the day.

I never really know who to feel more sorry for, bride or groom, when the best man (in this case, best men x3) crack the first joke about the groom.
Being a university, Grove House is well equipped with a full range of presentation equipment for that all important slideshow presentation of photos from the groom’s past misdemeanours – just in case a well crafted best man’s speech of suggestion and innuendo wasn’t quite making the point, always good to dig out the photos of the groom in embarrassing situations. A proud moment for any parent.
