Hengrave Hall autumn wedding photos. I wasn’t supposed to photograph this wedding but I was very glad that I did! Kyeria & Craig had originally booked another photographer but sadly she had injured herself and didn’t feel she could do justice to the whole day. Thankfully, we have a network of photographers who are happy to look after each other when someone can’t shoot a wedding. Equally thankfully, it’s not something that has to be called on very often but grateful that when it does, it works well.

Hengrave Hall wedding venue

It was early October and autumn was settling in. Plenty warm enough to make the most of all that Hengrave Hall has to offer, indoors and out. It is a venue I know very well so even though I had only just met this superb couple, I knew what needed to be done straightaway. It was just a bit of a chat to gauge how the bride and groom wanted their day to go. Kyiera and Craig were simply brilliant; a great couple with a hilarious sense of fun. They had put in a lot effort for the day, making it so elegant and luxurious but full of fun and laughter.

Suffolk wedding venue

The day started with Kyiera getting ready with the girls in the bridal suite whilst the boys struggled with ties and buttonholes just down the corridor in the boys room. Short walk over to the chapel for the wedding ceremony before heading out onto the terrace for drinks, canapés and lawn games. The reception gave us a good opportunity for some photos of the families as well as some time with just the bride and groom. Then it was into the Hall for the meal which was rounded off by some hilarious and heartfelt speeches. No Hengrave wedding is complete without a party dancing the night away!
