Seckford Hall wedding photos. Every now and then I am asked what my favourite venues are to photograph a wedding. I ‘um’ and ‘ahh’ a bit thinking of all the amazing venues I have had the privilege of photographing. But it always comes down to one simple thing. The chemistry of the couple I am photographing. Simple as that. Don’t get me wrong, I love a great wedding venue and Seckford Hall is a fantastic place for a wedding. You are spoilt for choice here. If the chemistry isn’t there, your venue will only provide so much of the magic. So if I could give one bit of advice to any couple wanting to get the best out of their day, that would be to “smile lots and enjoy it”.

Sophie and Tom did that. I don’t think wasn’t a moment that they weren’t completely invested in their day and enjoying it. Well, perhaps there were a few issues around how to best tie a tie but thankfully that situation was rescued by YouTube! Every guest there was greeted with a huge smile and lots of enthusiasm. They also made the day their own, putting aside formalities and creating the structure and format that best worked for them.
On top of that, they were pretty fearless when it came to braving the winter cold and drizzle. Armed with umbrellas, wellies and a massively positive attitude, they created some brilliant opportunities for photographs. Thanks for trusting me guys! The day was spent chatting and catching up with the friends. The evening was spent enjoying sparklers, not sure who enjoyed those more, the kids or the adults! Then belting around the dance floor to the fantastic ceilidh band, Stumpy Oak. I don’t think there were any injuries despite the energy on the dance floor!
