South Farm spring wedding of Ellie & Lee

South Farm spring wedding. Simply brilliant! This is what weddings are all about. An incredible couple with beautiful chemistry bringing two families together and having a lot of fun! Crisp, clear and mild day at South Farm which turned out to be the perfect weather for a spring wedding (that’s the compulsory blog weather forecast out of the way!). But with such lovely weather, we had the opportunity to enjoy the reception outside in the garden and make the most of the outdoors of this great wedding venue.

South Farm wedding photos. Aaah, spring! It feels like it’s finally sprung. The spring bulbs at South Farm looked confident enough to keep their heads above ground and make the most of the first bit of warm sunshine. A long week of checking the weather forecast watching it swing from cold and wet to warm and sunny, changing almost every hour but thankfully landing on a perfect weather for a spring wedding.

South Farm winter wedding of Fiona and Darren

South Farm winter wedding. South Farm weddings are always a lot of fun, it’s a lovely, intimate venue which always seems to attract great couples to celebrate their day. I must admit though, I was a little anxious about shooting a winter wedding there mainly as the majority of weddings I had shot there before I had been spoilt with glorious sunshine and the gardens in full bloom. A cold, grey November day was always going to be a challenge but as soon as I met Fiona and Darren, I knew there was nothing for me to be worried about they are such a lovely couple with amazing chemistry, I knew we were in for a great day!

Christ’s College winter wedding photography of Emma & James

Unexpectedly fine weather for the Christs College wedding photography of Emma and James. The week before the country had been battered with howling gales, things weren’t looking promising. Thankfully though the weather calmed down and we even had some glorious winter sunshine. Great to be back at Christ’s College, such a beautiful venue for a wedding. Also great to be at a wedding with so much significance for Emma and James as this is where they first met back when they were undergraduates. Emma looked absolutely stunning – if there was any doubt she would look anything less. James looked devilishly handsome in his full white tie and tales but couldn’t really compete with Emma’s extraordinary shoes. The Louboutins were quite something to behold, all of them, even the cake topper and vodka luge Louboutin!
