Christ’s College Cambridge wedding photography. Bright and sunny start to the day at Christ’s College, Cambridge for Kate and Simon’s wedding. A very special venue for both of them as this is where they met when they were studying. Lots of nerves to start the day, as much for the wedding as for the beady eye that the porters were giving making sure no one stood on the grass! Beautiful college right in the heart of Cambridge. Once you are through the college gates, it’s a little sanctuary of calm steeped in history. The wedding made the most of this with the ceremony in the chapel and the drinks reception in the masters gardens. After a while there, you have to remind yourself that you are in the middle of a very busy town!

After the relaxed drinks reception at college, it was over to Anstey Hall for the wedding breakfast and evening party. Such a great little venue, another little gem tucked away. A venue full of it’s own character and eccentric history. An elegant backdrop for the day and a great spot for an evening party. And if you are lucky enough to have a room there, not far to go at the end of a busy night!
