Wellie boots. We all have the notion that the quintessential British wedding is champagne on the lawn in glorious sunshine but with the British weather, it’s always a good idea to have a plan B. Quite a few brides have a back up plan of large umbrellas and wellies. Kate (from Kate & Keiron’s wedding in Dorset) knew that whatever the weather, she was going to make the short walk from the church down to the stream she used to play in as kid and she wanted to splash around in the water. Kate bought her wellies from Hunter, Anna bought hers from Laura Ashely and Lucy from Banana Republic. I’ve also seen these from Weddington Boots.
