Hengrave Hall wedding photo. An idyllic summer’s day, what could be better? Well, include a beautiful bride and a very happy groom, lovely family and friends and a glass or two of champagne and you are pretty much there. Alexandra and Ian were married in the beautiful village church of St Peter’s, Moulton nr Newmarket and had their reception at Hengrave Hall. Ali and Ian were a lovely couple to work with, so perfectly matched for each other. And willing to put up with my slightly hectic schedule for the group shots – but when I say ‘my’ schedule, it was because a special surprise had been laid on for the couple and their guests and I had to have everything done half an hour earlier than planned …but without letting anyone know!

Thankfully we got there fairly seamlessly and it was worth the extra effort. I was also lucky enough to be working along side two legends in this business we call weddings (legends is probably a big word, we’re not talking about Gladiator here but quality folk helping out on your wedding day are the ones that can make all the difference) Colin the Milsoms/Hengrave wedding maestro and Dan of FromtheHip video

Alexandra’s beautiful wedding bouquet.
Sadly I can’t guarantee a heart-shaped cloud floating by at every wedding. It might be a budding wedding business opportunity waiting to happen!
Pretty intense game of cricket on the lawns of Hengrave Hall. Got the feeling that the only disappointing part of the day when the players were called in for the wedding breakfast – it was like a bunch of kids being called in for their tea! Top Hengrave Hall wedding photographer.
Fantastic display fly past, not something you get to see at every wedding.
My favourite reaction a best man getting up to give a speech and announcing that he was going to ad-lib the whole thing.

I love these. The shot during bridal prep through the veil is great. And so many lovely moments from the drinks reception. Wonderful work.
