Suffolk wedding. What an incredible day – these guys smashed it! When I sat down with Jess and Stu on a cold February afternoon to talk through their wedding, they were full of enthusiasm and mischief about their plans. You know straight away that they had the right attitude to planning their wedding – I just hoped that they could keep the energy going until the day itself. As we talked about the day, I couldn’t help just quietly chuckle about how brilliant this was going to be. My only concern was that not all the plans would come together by the day itself.

Absolutely no need to have had any concerns. Not only did all the plans come together but even more so. They really blew the day out of the water! We started off at Jess’s Mum’s house for a very relaxed morning of preparations with the girls. Nip over to the pub to see the boys before finishing back up at Jess’s. But it was definitely one of those mornings where the excitement was palpable. The wedding ceremony was held at St James’s Church in Nayland, a beautiful English village church.

And then onto the party. And what a party! Afternoon drinks & canapes on the lawn before heading off into the huge Raj Tent marquee …and what else could these guys have for their sound track but ‘Jai Ho’! This was never going to be a quiet occasion and they really made the most of it. They put down a marker for the kind of thing they wanted to see from their guests and their guests didn’t disappoint! What an incredible couple and a brilliant wedding.

 

The spectacular flower displays were put together by Gaye Drummond, catering by Milsoms & music by The Beavers (with some drumming help from Harry Judd). Albly assisted by Leo with the wedding video and with one of his unique car photo booth from Coco Photobooths.
