Hengrave wedding photography. There are so many reasons why you would choose Hengrave Hall as your venue for your wedding. It’s incredible ‘wow’ factor alone as you head down the long drive towards the front of the hall is usually enough for most people. And that’s before you have had a chance to weigh up the rooms, the gardens, the food, the first class service. But I don’t think I would be far wrong in thinking that one of the first things that went through Brownie’s head when he sized up the venue was “…I reckon we could get a decent cricket square set up on that lawn, rack up a few overs during the reception …”.

To say Brownie is keen on cricket is an understatement. It was probably only right that the wedding took on a cricket theme. Well, when it came to Bit, he did bowl a maiden over! Geddit! Bowl a maiden over … oh, please yourselves. Now as any England sports fan will know, the first and probably most important thing you check with any cricket match is the weather. During the marriage ceremony, the skies opened up and threatened a delay in play.
Undeterred, Bit and Brownie did what they seem to do a lot of. They smiled, laughed (a lot) and got on with enjoying the day. I suspect Bit was just glad that there was a summer’s Saturday afternoon that she could enjoy with Brownie without having to watch him from the distance of the boundary. Although it was quite tricky calling in a few of the guests for the wedding breakfast as the umpire hadn’t called for tea or bad light.

Here are some of my photos from a wonderful day and an incredible couple. If all my weddings were half as good as this, my life would be very easy indeed!
