Chateau Rigaud wedding photographer | Part Two
- Category: Chateau Rigaud, Weddings
- Location:
After the solemnity of Ravindhi and Boo’s beautiful wedding ceremony, it was back to Chateau Rigaud to make the most of the sunshine, bellini bar and delicious canapes. First drinks on the lawn and then through to the terrace for champagne and oysters.
As the heat of the day slowed down to a quiet roar, it was over to the barn for the wedding breakfast. More sumptuous food and some of the finest wine Boo and Tom the Wine Chap could source (and these guys really know their stuff). Ravindhi’s father gave a superb, heart-felt and very funny speech. I think he was vying for second place as the person having most fun on the day.
The evening was finished off with some impressive dancing to Eye of the Tiger, fireworks and maybe one or two more glasses of something fortifying. I suspect there may have been a few sore heads for the Sunday game of Sri Lanka vs Ireland cricket!
(I love the expressions in this first photo – I’d been having a real struggle trying to get everyone to look at the camera and at the point of sheer despair, Anna, the chateau’s owner, stood behind me and did something to help things along. I’m too much of a gent to say what …but it did the trick!)
