Hengrave Hall summer wedding. This is one of those weddings that just quietly blows you away. Michelle and Zach are an incredible couple, generous and loving souls with a fantastic family and friends. There were so many intimate little touches through out the day that made it so incredibly special.

They both live on the west coast of America so somewhere like Hengrave Hall presented the quintessential English backdrop for their wedding. And thankfully we also got a quintessentially English summer’s day. They had an intimate marriage ceremony in the morning in the hall itself which was always going to be emotional. As expected, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. And just when you thought that things wouldn’t get any more emotional, there was the blessing in the chapel. Phew!

Definitely time to celebrate after that! Here are some of my favourite images from the day.

Michelle and Zac had made so much of this day their own. The personal and very touching wedding vows were written by themselves. There was a collective deep breath before each vow and a massive emotional relief after them. They were powerful stuff. Michelle had written a song for Zac which she sang after the speeches, as part of her speech. Again, it was hold on tight moment as this got pretty emotional again! They also have the most brilliant sense of humour having Je t’aime playing during the fireworks with the crescendo just at peak fireworks!

What a brilliant day expertly organised and managed by a brilliant couple. Certainly one that the guests wont forget in a hurry.
