Glemham Hall wedding of Hannah and Jimmy

Glemham Hall wedding. I’m not really sure what the technical term for what the weather was at Hannah and Jimmy’s wedding but I think “bleh” about covers it. Grey, cold and the occasional bit of drizzle. One of those days you just want to be inside, by a large log fire and with a few good friends. And nowhere is more perfect than Glemham Hall, full of old world charm and history but most importantly, it has a large log fire! Hannah and Jimmy were a superb couple to work with, full of energy, fun and life and surrounded by fantastic family and friends.
Winter wedding at Glemham Hall
The ceremony itself was incredibly romantic, with the main hall lit by candle light and warmed by log fires (did I mention the log fires? I like the log fires!) A simple, solemn occasion with plenty of smiles and the occasional tear. As soon as they walked back down the aisle, it was most definitely time to celebrate …and Hannah and Jimmy’s friends weren’t shy to step up to the challenge. We poked our head out of the front door for a few shots but didn’t venture much further, the weather was still very “bleh” and there was plenty of champagne to be drunk inside. Not a difficult decision to make! After the reception in the main house, it was over to the marquee for the evening’s entertainments – and champagne was most definitely the theme of the night. Who knew you could have so much fun with a tape measure and a Malteser with some seriously impressive distances achieved over the length and width of the whole of the marquee.
What an incredible day! What incredible people! Many congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs James.
And here are a few of my favourite images from the day.
