Loseley wedding photos
Loseley wedding photography. Phew – what to say about Harriet and Kevin’s wedding? Well … it was emotional! What an incredible day. Beautiful weather, stunning backdrop but best of all, lots and lots of brilliant people really enjoying themselves. I don’t think these two wonderful people stopped smiling all day long – even when things got really emotional (and that happened quite a lot!), they still managed to beam big bright smiles.
Loseley wedding
Both Harriet and Kevin are based in America and they brought with them family and friends to enjoy the day. Thankfully they also brought with them a little bit of sunshine as well. It’s always a real bonus to be able to use the gardens at Loseley House. The gardens have their own character through out the year and it’s lovely to see the blossoms starting to bloom. Everything was starting to look so crisp and fresh.
Loseley chapel wedding
A first for me was that the ceremony was held in the small chapel behind the barn. It has it’s own unique feel. Where the main hall in the house has dark wood panels and is steeped in history, the chapel has clean, white modern lines. It has it’s own light and spacious feel. The ceremony was pretty emotional, it was a struggle for both of them to hold it together. It became quite a struggle for everyone else to hold it together as well!
Wedding horse and carriage
Then it was a romantic horse and carriage ride back to the house, with a bit of a detour to make the most of it. Harriet loves horses so this was a real treat for her – as if this day wasn’t special enough. Reception drinks were held in the main house before heading over to the barn for the wedding breakfast and evening party. Loseley wedding photography.
