Loseley Park spring wedding. Blimey – the weather has been good to me this year – and long may it last! Picture perfect day for Harriet and Kevin’s Loseley Park spring wedding and a picture perfect couple to go with it. Kevin and his family had travelled from the West Coast of the US for the wedding and, although I’m sure they are used to bigger and brighter days in Californai, it was a quintessentially English day. Grand country house, impressive estate gardens all steeped in centuries of history. Oh …and some pretty decent sparkling wine from Denbies vineyard where Harriet’s mother works. Drinking and talking about the weather, two of the British favourite conversational pastimes!
One thing the Brits aren’t known for are public displays of emotion which was definitely a challenge at this wedding. Not a dry eye in the house …I blamed my teary eyes on an early bout of hay fever, of course.
