Tipi wedding photography. If you want a master class in how to go about putting a wedding together, you would do well to take notes from SherFest. Lyn and Dan’s spectacular tenttipi wedding. Now, just to warn you, this is going to be a big blog post. All the advice on putting together a blog post is to have a handful of images and lots of carefully crafted google-friendly text. Sorry, but this wedding is too good to miss anything out. So settle into one of the leather sofas, kick back your heels, grab an espresso martini from the Bar on a Bike, steal a slice of freshly made pizza from the mobile pizzeria, watch the sun set over the pond into the huge Suffolk sky whilst you let the energy from the incredible band, The Guns, soak over you.

Now, before this turns into a long list of all the fantastic things Lyn and Dan had organised for their day, I think I should point out that as incredible as all these things were, that’s not what made the wedding as good as it was. Quite simply, it was Lyn and Dan. Two of the loveliest people you are likely to meet; a couple who love to smile, laugh and share that with unconditional generosity with all they meet. Their warmth and kindness is matched only by their humility. Dan summed it up best in his speech when he was asked what the best way to organise Lyn’s hen party should be. “Make sure everyone else is having lots of fun and Lyn will love it”. The formula was simple – bring lots of great friends and family together on a sunny summers day with plenty of food and drink and let the magic happen. And that’s what they did. But with bucket loads of style! (Did I mention the mobile pizzeria?) A huge mention has to go to two of the loveliest ladies in the wedding industry, Louise and Natalie of Louise Perry Weddings who brought everything together and made the day run seamlessly. Utter professionals in every respect who brought a distinct calm to the day along with a lot (a lot!) of laughter. They invested themselves completely in the day and even got overwhelmed by Dan’s emotional song he sang during his speech – I didn’t, that was just a bit of grit in my eye, hay-fever probably.

It’s always a privilege to be a part of someone’s wedding day and none more so than Lyn and Dan. They completely knocked this one out of the park! They celebrated a beautiful day and made many happy memories for lots of people that will last a very long time. And they even managed to organise the perfect summer’s weather!
