Bruisyard Hall wedding. A little bit of South Africa arrived in Suffolk this weekend for Louise and Philip’s wedding at Bruisyard Hall. Not only did Louise’s family come over from South Africa, it felt like they brought a little bit of their sunshine with them. Beautiful summer’s day, incredible venue and two very happy people getting married. There was a rumour that Philip might be punching above his weight but I have to say, they are perfectly matched for each other …if they have a life half as happy as their wedding day, they are in for an incredible time.

The wedding ceremony itself was held in the wood-beamed barn, full of rustic, country charm. Then a quick stroll up to the Hall itself with the bridal party for a few photos before heading back to the barn for the rest of wedding reception, meal and evening celebrations. The day had a perfectly measured feel to it which meant that no one was under pressure (although Philip looked a little nervous at the top of the aisle …and during the speeches but that’s expected!)
