Framlingham farm wedding. It was a blustery ol’ day for Sarah & Will’s Suffolk farm wedding. The weather certainly kept us on our toes, gloriously…
Glemham Hall wedding photography. A couple of days before this wedding, the weather was looking bleak. Pretty grim. Well, it was the middle of February and during the run of oddest weather we’ve had for a long time. When I met up with Laura, it was grey, wet and miserable and we had pretty much settled on Plan B for the wedding photography – Plan B is ‘doing all the photography indoors’! Well, wouldn’t you know it, the day of the wedding took us all by surprise – beautiful blue skies, crisp, clear winters day. Still a little frisky but the best we could ask for this time of year. Glemham Hall is a fantastic backdrop for any wedding but more so when the sky is blue, it just seems to shine.
Suffolk marquee wedding photography. A short trip down the road for me to Assington Church for the wedding of Sophie and Wigs. And then onto their wedding reception at Sophie’s family home in Sudbury. Happiest of happy bride and groom, sunny day in the English countryside, lots of guests determined to enjoy themselves. For me Suffolk wedding photography doesn’t get much more enjoyable than this! Assington Church is a picture perfect English church, a lovely place for a wedding but I did have to do a double take as I was greeted by a curious llama on the way down the drive.
Lil’s father had worked hard to prepare the farm for the wedding. Word had even gone out to other farmers on the route to the church that golden crops should be planted. The grandeur and formality of a military wedding quickly gave way to the laid back Suffolk farm approach to celebrations.
Columbine Hall wedding photography. Nina and Jeremy were married in St Margaret’s Church in Ipswich before heading over to Columbine Hall for their wedding reception….
Unplugged wedding. Although weddings have become so busy with cameras and camera phones these days, on the whole it doesn’t bother me as a photographer,…
