Little Green Wedding Barn Suffolk wedding. Emily and Jelle got married at Little Green Wedding Barn, which is a modern barn in Suffolk with countryside views. It was such a happy day and the sun even made an appearance!
The ceremony was an intimate affair in the small side barn of the venue; sadly too windy to be outdoors. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was such a personal service. They decorated the area with lots of colour, which I loved. The reception was at Little Green Wedding Barn – I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for portraits. Weddings at Little Green Wedding Barn are amazing, the grounds are so chilled.
Why Little Green Wedding Barn is a great place to get married
Little Green Wedding Barn is really peaceful and secluded and is one of the coolest places to get married in Suffolk. The venue offers seriously good food – and there are loads of amazing places that are perfect for photos.
The couple had a drinks reception in the afternoon and an intimate family dinner in the evening. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance was a good old traditional wedding shuffle. Emily wore a classic white dress and Jelle wore a navy suit and they looked really dapper. Lots of the accent colours for the boys (the ties and the button holes) were bright oranges, a nod to Jelle’s Dutch heritage and where they both now live.
The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was really touching. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and I loved that they were so relaxed. I had photographed Emily’ sisters wedding almost a year previously to the day. When I saw them at Lucy & George’s wedding, I knew that they were going to get married but I also knew that they had half an eye on the wedding so that they could put their own imprint on planning their day when it came to it.
