Hedsor House wedding photos. Beautiful, bright late summer’s day at Hedsor House for Sophia & Chris’s wedding day. Excitement levels were high. Very high! Understandably so with such a lovely couple, a brilliant crowd and a superb backdrop, all the hard work and emotions had come together perfectly for this day. Elegant, stylish, chic and very exciting. Above all, my favourite thing about this wedding was the bond and friendships between everyone, how solid the sense of family was.

The day started in the big bridal suite with the girls, always a giggle. Then over to the other end of the corridor to the Hoffman room to see the boys. Always chalk and cheese, with the genteel side of the girls, elegant as ever and the boys, well a little less so. Energy levels were high in both rooms which is always a great start. The ceremony room was set up for the wedding and all we needed was some guests. When everyone was seated and settled, Sophia, her Dad and her bridesmaids walked outside and around to the front door for that grand entrance into the hall.
Wedding reception at Hedsor
After the ceremony, it was out into the glorious sunshine and a storm of bubbles on the patio. Quintessentially English afternoon with the drinks reception on the lawn with canapés. A few quick group photos and some couples portraits but plenty of time on the lawns with friends making the most of the sunshine.
Speeches and evening party at Hedsor
After the meal, it was time for some brilliant, emotional and hilarious speeches. Even though everyone got a gentle ribbing, there was a lot of love in the room. This time of year, the sunshine was just coming around the side of Hedsor and settling onto the horizon as the meal ended – perfect for a few golden hour photos as well as guests to be able to stretch out before the evening dancing kicked in. And with a day like this, what a party is was to finish with!
