Lavenham Church winter wedding

Castle Hedingham wedding photos. Lavenham Church is impressive on an ordinary day. But in the crisp winter sunshine of Joanne and Dan’s wedding, it looked stunning. But not only outside. Tudor Rose florists and Dreamwave Events had done their usual outstanding work and the inside of the church looked incredible as well. An arcade of flowers along the aisle with a huge arch of flowers at the front. All very cleverly lit along the sides with candles and up-lighters. It looked great in amongst the long low golden sunshine but as the day darkened down, it looked so elegant and romantic.

The day started for Joanne in The Swan down the hill from the church. Her and her bridesmaids were brought up to the church by horse drawn carriage. The last of the days sunshine guided her up the long church path. The church itself matched her brief of “being dark, only light enough for the vicar to read the vows”. It looked amazing! It did mean that our cameras were pushed to their absolute limits but glad to say they held up well.

Next, we headed off to Castle Hedingham where the wintery romanticism went from strength to strength. An ancient castle keep with that similar dreamy candle light. Joanne & Dan truly excelled themselves in organising this day. A cold winters day where you were wrapped up in the Christmasy warmth of candle light, ancient buildings and log fires. This is a couple who know how to do things right and were willing to make the effort for it to happen. An elegant day for an elegant couple.

Big credit to Jasmine Jade who came along to test out some new cameras. And ended up getting some amazing photographs even whilst ironing out some technical difficulties! Great to have Natasha from MyFilm there as well. When you see her happy face looking over her camera, you know you are in good hands!
