Boom! What a wedding day!

Bressingham Hall wedding photographer. What a brilliant venue Bressingham Hall is, it’s one of those venues that just keeps giving! The Hall itself is an elegant, traditional manor house, a stylish space for getting ready in; the barn is huge country-chic space for a wedding ceremony with outdoor space for the drinks reception; then into the marquee for the meal. But then you have the gardens which are as huge as they are are stunning, a beautiful backdrop for lots of photos. And just when you think you’re ready to head back in for an evening of dancing, it’s over to the Gallopers for a fairground ride. Something for everyone.

Norfolk wedding venue

Jessy & Toby planned their day down to perfection. Not only with so many little perfect details but also with art of theatre, letting each element of the day unfold. The wedding party looked stunning with the ladies in sage green silks and men in cream tuxedos. The ushers had matching named boxer shorts but that’s probably too much information! The day was a scorcher, the gardens were in bloom and everyone was rightly very, very excited to see this lovely couple get married.

Bressingham Hall wedding ceremony

Whilst the girls got ready in hall, the boys were in the garden putting on buttonholes and having a cheeky beer. Guests gathered outside the barn, the chatter was getting very excited. Jessy looked incredibly stunning when she walked out of the bridal suite at the top of the grand staircase – sometimes you have nudge the bridesmaids into getting a reaction but not in this case, she took everyone’s breath away. Walking with her Dad, by the far the proudest man in world that day, down to the barn and ready for the wedding ceremony. It was no surprise that Toby struggled to keep it together when Jessy walked down the aisle.

After the ceremony it was into the beautiful gardens for family photos and some time with just the two of them before heading back for the party. Huge cheers as they entered the marquee with napkins waving followed by some very emotional and funny speeches. The surprise of the meal was a brilliant performance by The Singing Waiter Masters who put on a high energy performance and had everyone belting out songs. Jessy led a congo out the marquee and through the barn. At one point, I thought the singers had lost their microphones for good as the tequila shots had kicked in and everyone was having a go. The highlight being Toby lifting Jessy in a Dirty Dancing final scene, no mean feat. How do you top that!?

The Gallopers at Bressingham Hall

Well, not sure how you top it but you can certainly give it a good go with the gallopers fairground ride as guests were led into the park next door. Now, there were a few faces that weren’t convinced but once on, it brings out your inner child and those faces were beaming by the end. Glorious golden sunshine at the end of the day meant that we nipped back over to the gardens for the last of the light and some golden hour photos with just Toby & Jessy. It’s a lovely little five minute break to get some photos and to have a breather to take stock before the evening party kicks in.

Evening wedding party at Bressingham

And what a party! With the surname Boom, it was always going to be a blast (sorry, I can only apologise for that). Everyone was on the dancefloor, young and old. Plenty of cocktails and party drinks and a lot of energy still left in the day. It truly was an absolute honour to be a part of this brilliant couple’s special day.
