Goodwood House wedding photography. I couldn’t think of a more beautiful couple for a more beautiful venue. Jenny and Luke’s Goodwood House wedding photography was an absolute joy. A bit of early spring sunshine was most welcome and did it’s bit to help the day along. Goodwood House is not only stunning but also one of the best run wedding venues I’ve had the pleasure of photographing at – the staff there are incredible professional but also have a great sense of humour and ease, making everything seem effortless. I met up with Jenny and Luke the day before and the weather was grey, chilly and threatening rain.
Goodwood House wedding photos
What a difference a day makes – a little bit of spring sunshine and the day just glowed. Come on weather, lets have a lot more sun this year! Special mention has to go to Ollie the pageboy who braved the bridal preparations, wore a tie and smiled from start to finish. Good work fella. Jenny looked stunning throughout and Luke, as a barrister, gave a sterling speech. Both his brothers were best men, one having to head off early to act in a play. But, typical actor, had to take the final bow with a recorded best man’s speech. Five stars from this critic and well deserved!

A very simple image from Jenny and Luke’s Goodwood House wedding photography last weekend. But usually the simplest ones are the strongest images. There’s two things that really struck me about this image. The first, and most obvious, is the grandeur of Goodwood House as a back drop for any wedding. This is one small part of the venue and as impressive as it is, is only one part of a continuous series of impressive part of this building. We were so lucky that we had some much needed spring sunshine so that we could go outside but even if we hadn’t, the interior of the house is quite incredible in it’s own right.
The second thing that is probably not so obvious in just one photo is just how into each other Jenny and Luke are – the backdrop might be impressive but these two couldn’t keep their eyes off each other all day, it was an absolute joy to witness. There were tender little moments all day long from when they first saw each other at the top of the aisle all the way through the day. It reminded of that quotation “They told me that to make her fall in love I had to make her laugh. And every time she laughs I’m the one who falls in love.”
