Henham Park wedding of Amelia & Tom

Henham Park wedding. You are not likely to meet two more lovely, committed and funny people than Amelia and Tom. I met them first on a balmy summers day at the beach in Walberswick. We had an engagement photo session which was so relaxed it felt more like a walk with a couple of old friends. This is pretty much the welcome you get from the families as a whole. Warm, welcoming and generous. The only time there was an awkward silence was when I asked why Amelia’s dad was on crutches. Some muttering about a stag weekend before the conversation was moved swiftly on! In amongst the sand dunes on a sunny day was a world away from Henham Park on a winters day. And so the planning begins.
Blythburgh Church wedding
One thing that was obvious from the start was that all options were going to be thoroughly considered before being decided on. Tom and Amelia were meticulous in their plans. And all that hard work really paid off. With the weather gods on our side, you could not have asked for a more picturesque couple and day. It was a short walk in wellies up the lane from where Amelia was getting ready to the Blythburgh Church. A significant church for the family and impressive in it’s history and grandeur. Winter light streaked in through the windows and with the candle lit aisles, it was quite stunning.

Henham Park wedding. After the ceremony, it was a short drive to Henham Park (home of Latitude Festival) for the reception. You will see throughout the day, one of the most important members of the family doing their bit. Walking down the aisle; during the confetti; and now as part of the couples portraits. Pedro the spaniel gets a very special member as one of the most excited family guests! Late afternoon sun just clipping the horizon, we could not have asked for more.

And now the party begins! Carols around the Christmas tree; some hilarious but very emotional speeches; great food; some impressive (and some ‘interesting’) dance moves and all rounded off with sparklers. What an incredible day. Henham Park wedding
