West Sussex marquee wedding photography

West Sussex marquee wedding photography. There was so much to love about this wedding – it just exudes understated elegance and charm. And one of loveliest couples you are likely to meet. You can’t go wrong with a couple whose wedding theme is based on one of their favourite pastimes, going out for a decent curry. Add in some beer made up especially for the wedding and you have the perfect combo.

The marquee was very cleverly built in and around the garden of Ellie’s family home. I love it when a marquee has a bit of the garden included in it. The ceremony was held at the church which is a stone’s throw from the front door of the house. Actually the church is so close that you wouldn’t have to throw a stone very far to reach it. The boys met at the pub which is just as close in the other direction. Ideal village set up for a Sussex wedding!

This set up meant the day was brilliantly relaxed and flowed smoothly from start to finish. Even a slight bit of drizzle during the reception didn’t even effect the day. Ellie looked stunning through out, perhaps a little stunned during her father’s speech. Ed was a little anxious about his best men’s speech and I think he was grateful to get away with a light roasting and a strong shot of something like should probably have stayed in Duty Free!
